Founder/Owner, Green Dot Public Relations

Darice Nagy’s work combines the traditional outreach of public relations with a mastery of social media platforms and up-to- the-minute industry trend spotting. As the founder of Green Dot Public Relations, Darice works with national and local clients offering large agency experience for both small and large business in a variety of industries. Prior to founding Green Dot Public Relations, Darice worked in the communications industry at large advertising firms where she oversaw regional and national accounts. She has significant experience developing and implementing PR strategies including blogger outreach programs, social media content development, media training, crisis communications and media relations. Darice is prepared to handle the full spectrum of publicity needs.

Darice began her career as an editorial assistant for a national women’s magazine and maintains strong relationships with editors at leading magazines, newspapers, wire services, and on-line outlets; and producers at major TV and radio outlets. Past coverage includes: USA Today, Business Week, Inc. Magazine, and Tech Crunch, among many other top tier outlets.

Darice previously served on the board of Pittsburgh Young Professionals overseeing their public relations and social media initiatives as well as serving two terms on the board of PRSA Pittsburgh as the Programming Director at Large. Most recently she acted as a founding member and the President of Ad2 Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh chapter of the young professionals organization of the American Advertising Federation for three consecutive terms, and she currently sits on the board of the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation as the communications chair.
